July 24, 2013 - Boyertown Soccer Club is pleased to announce that Emily Cota will be joining the staff at Boyertown Soccer Club as goalkeeper coach. Emily is an alumni of Upper Perk High School and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Growing up, Cota played for F.C. Vincent United, was selected to Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer’s ODP State team for 7 years, and the U.S. Regional team 3 times. A 4 year starter at Upper Perkiomen High School, Cota was named to the NSCAA High School All-American team in 2008, after leading her team to the 2008 Pioneer Athletic Conference Championship. During her career at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Cota was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference team, the NEWISA  All-New England team, and NSCAA Women’s Division 1 All- Mid-Athlantic Region team.

Cota will be running a series of keeper training sessions during September and October for our travel players. She will also be available for individual team training and will work closely with coaches to support our keepers.
