To keep up with the times and what all other clubs are now doing, Boyertown Soccer Club is now birth year age groups instead of school grade. See the attached age group chart. Age group chart

U4 (2022), U5 (2021), U6 (2020): Fall sessions begin Saturday September 6, 2025 and will end Saturday October 25, 2025. U4, U5 and U6 Session Times are on Saturday mornings. The times are as follows (Times are subject to change):

U4 Session: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
U5 Session: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
U6 Session: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM

U4, U5 and U6 do not have week night practices. Practices/scrimmages are run on Saturdays only at the scheduled time and held at Washington Elementary School in Barto. Lisa Scott runs the practices with the help of volunteer parents. Lisa takes care of planning practices for the players and the volunteer parents are there to help supervise the players.

U8 - U19 (2018-2007) Fall Season

First Games:

U8: Saturday September 6, 2025
U10-U19: TBD

Practices:

Practices will start Monday August 18th, Depending on weather and volunteers.
Practices for U8-U10 are gender only and Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday 6 pm to 7 pm
Practices for U12 are boys,and girls are Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday 6 pm to 7:15 pm
U14 boys and girls and Monday/Wednesday 6 pm to 7:30 pm
U16 coed and U19 coed Tuesday/Thursdays 6 pm to 7:30 pm
Practices are held at Washington Elementary School, Washington Park (formerly known as Victoria Park), and WTMA in Barto (Other possible locations in Boyertown if more teams are formed than fields available).

Game Times:

U8-U19: Games will be scheduled beginning at 9:00AM Saturday mornings and extending throughout the day but games may be scheduled on Sundays and Friday evenings as well. Times of the last games on Saturdays will be determined by the number of teams.
If your child participates in an age group having an ODD number of teams, you should expect Sunday afternoon games to allow each team to play at least one game each weekend. Weeknight games will also be scheduled if needed.
Rained out game days may be made-up on Sundays or weeknights.

REQUESTS:

In the U8 age group, a maximum of two transportation requests (in date order received) will be allowed for any one player per age group. Siblings in the same age group will count as one player. Example: Sally Smith is a U8 player. John Fox and Louise Moyer request Sally for carpool purposes on January 10th and 12th. This is OK. Brenda Davis registers on January 20th and requests Sally as well. This will not be allowed because Sally already has two requests.
Stacked requests will not be honored. From the above example: Brenda Davis requests to play with John Fox for carpooling. This request will not be honored because John has already requested to play with Sally for carpooling.
All transportation requests will be reviewed and approved by the Intramural Director. The purpose of the change to transportation requests is to discourage "team building". Requests that appear to be for the purpose of team building will not be honored or may be modified (ie, players in a stacked request may be placed on a different team that would still allow some carpooling).
Requests for specific coaches will not be honored at the intramural level.

Due to the way players and teams must now be reported to EPYSA, U4-U8 is called INTRAMURAL and U10-U19 is now called RECREATIONAL in the registration system. BSC continues to regard both as parts of the BSC Intramural program.

BSC Intramural Program

Boyertown Soccer Club offers a structured Intramural Program that provides quality soccer instruction during two separate seasons; in spring and in the fall. Our Intramural Program allows children ages 3-18 to play the game of soccer in a fun, educational environment with structured practice time and games. The Intramural Program focus is player development while providing a great soccer experience to foster a love of the game in our children.

BSC Intramural Spring/Fall Age Group Information:

U4, U5, U6 – Meets once a week with Lisa Scott on Saturday’s for 60 minutes. Participants will be provided a T-shirt. The time will be split between skills and scrimmage.
U8 – Meets twice weekly (Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs) for approx. 1 hour practices. Games are played primarily on Saturdays, with the occasional weeknight or Sunday game against other BSC teams. Participants receive a full uniform of jersey, shorts and socks. Boys and girls teams only.

Suburban County Soccer League - Consists of teams from Amity, Boyertown, Coventry, Exeter, FC Montco, Perk Valley, Phoenixville, Pottsgrove, Valley and Whitpain.

U10 - Meets twice weekly (Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs) for approx. 1 hour practices. Games are played primarily on Saturdays, with the occasional weeknight or Sunday game against other BSC teams. Participants receive a full uniform of jersey, shorts and socks.There will be boys teams, and a girls teams and they participate in the Suburban County Soccer League
U12 - Meets twice weekly (Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs) for approx. 1 hour and 15 minute practices. Games are played primarily on Saturdays, with the occasional weeknight or Sunday game. Participants receive a full uniform of jersey, shorts and socks. There will be boys teams and girls teams and they will participate in the Suburban County Soccer League
U14-U19 - Meets twice weekly (Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs) for approx. 90 minute practices Games are played primarily on Saturdays but there may be Sunday or Friday evening games. Participants receive a full uniform of jersey, shorts and socks. U14 is boys and girls only, U16 & U19 are coed teams.
If your child participates in an age group having an ODD number of teams, you should expect Sunday afternoon games to allow each team to play at least one game each weekend. Sunday games will not be scheduled any earlier than 1:00PM.

Equipment - Please put your child's name on all soccer balls, drinks and outerwear.

All players must wear shin guards under their socks during practice and games. This is mandatory.
Players are not permitted to wear jewelry of any kind (for safety reasons).
Soccer cleats or turf shoes are recommended but sneakers are allowed (No Metal cleats or Baseball cleats).
A soccer ball should be brought to all games and practices (per size info noted below): U4, U5, and U6 - Size 3 soccer ball / U8-U12 - Size 4 soccer ball / U14-U19 - Size 5 soccer ball.
A water or drink bottle. (No glass/breakable bottles please!)

Registartion

Spring registration opens 1st week of January. Fall registration will open June 4th. Registration closes 2 weeks before practice or if an age group fills up.
